Sew it With Love
Elena is a Fashion & Textiles Designer with a passion for sharing the wonderful skills and art of sewing and dressmaking.
She started teaching herself dressmaking and experimenting with textiles from a very early age out of a burning desire to realize the designs in her head which were hard to find in her hometown. She also wanted to wear unique clothes that nobody else would be wearing. After years of practising DIY dressmaking she went on to train in Fashion & Textiles at London College of Fashion and London Metropolitan University.
After a six year spell working as a freelance designer and bespoke dressmaker Elena set up Sew It With Love in February 2013;
A sewing and dressmaking studio devoted to teaching sewing and dressmaking to all, from absolute beginners to more advanced sewers.
Elena is also passionate about vintage clothing and textiles upcycling and her classes include a selection of vintage inspired garment making as well as upcycling, customizing and alterations workshops.
